What a sample can and cannot tell you

Understand the limits of partial lists and why a missing name does not prove an unfollow.

Follow observed profile changes with their timestamps in one feed.

Know how much of the list is available

A list can be a sample rather than a complete account history. Saved lists show their observation date. A missing name in a partial sample is not proof of an unfollow; unavailable data is shown as a limitation instead of invented results.

Counts and people answer different questions

A count tells you how the total changed; the available list shows which people were observed. A net gain of two followers can include both arrivals and departures. We do not assign the whole count change to names in an incomplete sample.

Dates describe our observations

The feed records when a check found a change. Reopen your dashboard or refresh it to see the latest saved results. The observation time is not an exact Instagram action time; a saved list may be older than the profile counts.

Public profile information, with clear limits

Profile photos, biographies and counts can appear in previews. Accessible public follower and following lists are available to free and Premium accounts. Private profiles do not expose these lists. The service does not access private messages, hidden content or Instagram passwords.
